About Me
I am a freelance illustrator/designer living and working out of southern Indiana with my wife and two sons. I have degrees from IVY-Tech and the University of Southern Indiana emphasizing in illustration, graphic design and fine arts. After school I freelanced for two years with the help of my wife Maggie (a.k.a. sugar mama) who helped us get through any slow spots. I then began work as an illustrator designer at Semisans Inc., a small creative studio made up of friends. I was a fixture there from its conception till it was bought out 4 years later. Following that I have held a couple prepress jobs so that I could be closer to printing. I love printing and have two antquie letterpresses in my basement (currently being niglected). Also I continue to freelance for local and national clients working mostly in the gaming industry.
Skills and Equipment:
My computer skills include the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign, light html programing, FTP usage and more. I have the know how and the equipment to; scan and color correct my own images, provided files in proper formats for end production, deal directly with publishers and printers. When it comes to what I can do on the board, I prefer acrylics, pen & ink and watercolor, most of the time and use the computer to clean up and shift colors when needed.
